Re: UN Plaza: Top Global Humanitarian Crises
Thanks, Mark for having Nicolas on. It was less than two weeks ago that I roused myself from my torpor and got a little bank draft going for MSF.

Quoting kidneystones: Reflexive anti-Semitism is now perfectly acceptable. Point is: Israel is the bad guy in the eyes of much of the world; which means that Jews worldwide can be 'challenged'.
etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
Could you please tell us what this silly rant has to do with the dialogue? Are you delusional? Pointless question no doubt since delusions are by definition inaccessible to rational consciousness.
In any case, the dialogue is a poignant reminder that there are far worse things in the world than bankers going bust.

Except that these problems will cost money to fix and they're banking on the U.S. to help them. Haha.

Médecins sans frontières, as far as I know, is a ngo funded by private donors.
But I agree, haha, when it comes to US humanitarian aid, one of the lowest in the world as a percentage of the national budget. Of course, there are many American ngos that provide humanitarian assistance.
